The benefits of using an insulated concrete form is that it strengthens a building’s walls. The ICFs are reinforced by the poured concrete, which strengthens the wall and minimises its vulnerability to vertical and horizontal stresses. The frequency and rigidity of the interior connectors can make the wall even stronger, depending on whether the ICF frame is flat or grid. Through this we’ve made buildings more defensive and safe.
